Metro now reports how a wannabe gigolo was taken for a ride a fan club.
These fan clubs are nothing but escort service run by professional gangs .
Many young and old are entrapped by ladies who claim to be an ideal partner . One can read about such services in vernaculars where one may come across offers like lonely woman, well educated NRI woman etc.
One can easily gauge what Ideal or partner means in worldly language .
This man approached one such so called fan club or teleservice and asked for some pleasant moments.
But, he hardly knew what was in store! He was given offer of becoming a gigolo or paid male sex worker .
Thanks to crass face of mass media, the young man fell into honey trap.
Perhaps, he was under impression of B grade bollywood flicks, where such professionals rake in millions.
Later, he was asked to deposit a certain amount. He complied with given instructions. However, he never expected rejection by his first client.
He was again asked to pay some more money, which this man willing paid .He faced the same fate.
It was only after a big financial blow that he understood meaning of his self made frolic.
Though he approached the cops but one wonders if any body will take cognizance of his ordeal. Perhaps, he forgot ,he had become a play thing in the hand of gangs.
May his lesson be understood by friends who often fall prey to such crooks!
But this raises a question,why are we aping west! Escort service is a western concept and in some countries such as Denmark and U.S.A., it is accepted as part of life,but can it be acceptable in a nation,where sex crimes, sex education and gender issues are utterly ignored!
Needless to say, Advertisement council of India, Press council of India and police authorities are indifferent to this social malice.
