Murderous Delhi

Delhi may be capital of the largest democracy, but it still lacks basic amenities.   It saw a number of murders within a week.
First, a young boy was killed by unknown assailants in one of the posh government  colonies –Lodhi  Road.
Then two young working women were nearly
drugged to death by a domestic aid, who was not only verified by cops but also recommended by a noted employment agency.
This  also  happened  in  a  well  connected  locality.
Yesterday, a NRI student was   killed in very mysterious circumstances. He is son of a noted Indo American  journalist .
This shows that a common man is still under the grips of criminals .
This is not an exaggerated claim but what major nation dailies and TV channels are trying to   proffer!
Dr.Kiran Bedi, a noted cop has often stressed to make a
change in entire policing system. Her views are also endorsed by many retired   police officials .

It is noteworthy that two third of Delhi stays in rural areas and slums .Thus, many criminals treat these places as a safe haven. With no communication between urban and rural masses ,
lack of basic amenities and indifferent elite, a layperson feels
utterly helpless.
Well, one can not take cops to task.

Most of them give the same  series of  answers- lack of resources, VVIP security, lack of perks ,influx of  Bangladeshi migrants etc.
But, we wish to ask, if   trained professionals   will  answer this way, then   can we really call them law keepers!
