Who  says  Gandhism  is  all  about  Bapu  and  his  ideals!  In  2008,its  about  Gandhis-young  or  old!
Arjun  singh  can  vouch  for  it.He  spoke  as  a  veteran politician  and  soon  found  his  place  among  the  political backbenchers. Perhaps,he  mistook his  old  age  as  a  coffer of  political  experience  and  gave  unasked  advice  about  his  sacrifice  in  a  public function.  He  soon  found  himself  at  catch  22  situation.He  was  not  only  given a cold  shoulder treatment   by  UPA  Chairperson,Ms  Sonia  Gandhi  but  many  politicians condemned  his  action  as  a subtle form  of  rebellion.
Now, Arjun  singh  has  made  a  public  statement  where  he  claims  to  have  sworn  my  loyalty  to Gandhi  family  before  Pd.Nehru.   

Ironically,this will  give  him  nothing  but  barbs  from  entire  nation which  feels  Congress  is  all  about  first  family !  
If Arjun  Singh  has  erred  ,then  Akhilesh  Das  has  cashed  in  on  anti  gandhism .  He  spoke  against  Rahul  Gandhi  to  gain  entry in  BSP  camp.Media  reports  inform,  Das  is  a  political  non  entity  but  his  anti  gandhis  rhetoric has  made  him  a  general secretary  of   BSP. Well, political  analysts  believe  anything  that  goes  against  Gandhis  is  cherished  by  BSP .

It  looks,  the  real  Gandhi-the  naked fakir  is  nolonger  adored  in  his  own  nation. Each  week,one  may  read  a  major  news  story  about  what  Rahul  eat or  where  Mrs Vadhera went! It  is  a  hard  truth  that   in coming  decade,  one  may know  about  Gandhi  familiy  but  hardly  talk  about  Mahatma  .
There is  nothing  to  be  ashamed  of!Afterall,this  is  an  era  of  Neogandhism.
